With the help of our strong and broad-based network, we are also able to offer other young and innovative brands the opportunity to successfully establish themselves on the German-speaking and international markets. In the interest of long-term, harmonious cooperation, we place a lot of value on authentic brand presentation and high product quality. Having started out with our own HYDROPHIL trademark, which boasts over 30 W.A.S.H. (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) products, we were then able to expand our brand and product portfolio to include the sustainable brand TIO and build on our earlier successes. Hence we are now able to offer our customers a wide spectrum of products from two different brands at the point of sale.
HYDROPHIL creates original and sustainable personal hygiene products—products that are intended to increase awareness of sustainability and resource scarcity issues. We want to achieve beautiful things with beautiful things. Our shared vision for HYDROPHIL lies in the production of a sustainable product line for the bathroom– one that is water neutral, vegan and ethical. Also, 10% of our profits go to the non-profit organisation Viva con Agua de Sankt Pauli e. V., which works to broaden access to clean drinking water and sanitation facilities for people in the Global South.
TIO’s sustainable redesign of a household item that billions of people use every day looks more attractive than you might expect. But more than that, it’s making a huge difference: TIO offers a resource-efficient travel toothbrush made from plant-based bioplastic which features a head replacement mechanism and is sold in innovative sugar cane packaging that can be reused as a travel protector. Not only does this mean that plant-based raw materials can be used in the product’s manufacture, it also means that 70% less waste is produced than typically results from the disposal of a toothbrush.
